Discover the multifilament tennis string

The multifilament is the historical construction of Tecnifibre. It provides the best playability and guarantees the respect of the player's integrity. The particularity of the Tecnifibre string process is that the fibres are impregnated in the core and not on the surface. This guarantees a resistance above the standards known on the market. Polyurethane 400 is the component that guarantees both maximum elasticity thanks to its grade 400 (400% elasticity) and a unique comfort thanks to a significant sinking of the strings at the moment of ball impact. In addition to comfort, it also provides much less fatigue during play (22% less fatigue than polyester monofilament according to a scientific study).

Which multifilament tennis strings should I choose?

Playability & Strength

The MULTIFEEL string is the most accessible in this range with a construction that guarantees comfort, resistance and power, while keeping an attractive price.

The special feature of this range is the wear indicator, which allows the player to change the string before it breaks completely.

These strings are renowned and appreciated for their power, comfort and their strong capacity to preserve their qualities over time. Thanks to the assembly of several hundred microfilaments, impregnated in liquid polyurethane, Tecnifibre offers players the opportunity to gain in power and performance.

Main material: Polyamide, polyurethane, silicone finish

Recommended tension between 22 and 25 kg

Maximum tension: 32 kgs

Not recommended for heavy string breakers (< 10 hours of play).

String made in France.

PU 400 : 400% Elasticity for high comfort and dynamic performance.

1 central Monocore : Specific construction with bigger diameter inside to provide durability and firmness. P.H.P means Polymer High Performance. It offers Higher shock resistance and tension holding.

Polyamide Fibers (985) : Improves ball speed and ball feel by matching PU 400.

It generates a lot of forgiveness in case of off-center hits.

S.P.L FINAL COATING

Anti abrasion coating for higher durability.

Playability & crispy feel

The XR-3 string is a special multifilament string in the range as its construction with 3 larger diameter monofilaments provides a "crispy" feel which could be translated as a dry feel in addition to the qualities of comfort, resistance and power. The particularity of this range is to present a wear indicator, which allows the player to change the string before the complete breakage.

This indicator is manifested by the significant fraying of the string at the point of ball impact.

Thanks to the assembly of several hundred microfilaments, impregnated in liquid polyurethane, Tecnifibre offers players the opportunity to gain in power and performance.
